paleo update

hi guys!

 

it’s been 10 days since I began eating paleo. if you wanna know why I’m trying paleo, read my first post HERE . full disclaimer : I’ve been eating 90% paleo. meaning, no grains, no dairy, and no skittles. however, I am still putting agave in my coffee and I’ve been eating 100% fruit popsicles at night for my ‘sugar’

that being said, I am thrilled to report that I am very happy with my results so far. I am down three pounds, which is mostly water, and my skin looks like it’s regained some elasticity. my sugar cravings are gone and I don’t really crave carbs. except for when my son ordered pepperoni pizza on friday night and it smelled so good I wanted to cry. but I was strong and only opted for a large Pagliacci house salad. which was delicious.

I really expected the sugar cravings to be worse but I think cutting out the grains minimized the cravings. I also was expecting to feel hungry an hour after a dinner without grains, but nope. weird, right? I’ve just been eating a ton of veggies and we BBQ steak or chicken every night. so really, it’s been kind of great.
