let’s jump right in. these products I use for my everyday makeup have been my go-to staples for the last couple years. in September I’m going to partner with MUA, Ambra, to create a tutorial on how I apply my makeup. so stay tuned…
for my face, I used La Mer foundation and it cosmetics concealer. to set my under eyes I use Laura Mercier powder. to apply my foundation and concealer I used a damp beauty blender because it really gives a seamless application.
for my contour and bronzer I use M.A.C pro powder in Shadester. it has taken many missteps before I found the right contour color and this one is perfect.
for blush I use M.A.C Margin. I have been through dozens of blush tones and this is a universal shade that just works for me day or night.
for highlight I use Hourglass luminent light in ambient. highlighter can be tricky because with 30 something skin if it’s too pigmented it will just accentuate fine lines. this highlighter is subtle and creates the perfect glow.
for my everyday eye I prefer to just use shadow and skip eyeliner and mascara. I have eyelash extensions so I skip mascara all together. at my age I think it’s more important to create an even skin tone with foundation and concealer and then create color and highlight to the face, leaving the smoky eye for evening.
for my brows I used Anastasia dip brow in either taupe or soft brown. I’ve used her brow whiz for years but the dip brow stays in place all day and night.
for my eyes I used M.A.C eyeshadow in Cork on my crease and Charlotte Tilbury the Golden Goddess palette Smoke for my lower lash line. in the inner corner of my eye I use M.A.C pro powder in Emphasize to highlight and open up the eye.
